Postal Wraps

When it comes to sending books, board games and other flat, solid items, finding the right packaging can be quite tricky.

These items do not necessarily lend themselves to envelopes due to their size and weight. Additionally, there’s a higher chance of product damage if sent in an envelope as they don’t offer the requisite levels of protection.

Similarly, people may not want to send a book or game in a box, as this will require filler and can cost more in terms of delivery charges.

The answer is a postal wrap. We have a great selection of wraps that have been cleverly designed to temporarily hold items of a flat, solid nature.

The postal wraps fit tightly around items, minimalising movement and significantly lowering the need to use additional wrapping or packaging when sending.

Our range of postal wraps comes in a host of sizes, allowing you to find the perfect packages for your specific needs.

Postal wraps are also great for sending more than one product at a time. So, if you need to send out multiple flat, solid items, you can save on packaging costs by sending them out in a single package.

We also stock a selection of standardised book packs that are specially designed to house books of different sizes. With three options available with different dimensions, these are perfect for getting literary and academic books out to those who need them.

Twist Wraps

Designed to take products of varying sizes, our twist wraps feature buffer-edge protection and a 90-degree twist action for extra strength where protection is needed most. We use a ‘peel & seal’ and tear strip combination to make our wraps quick to assemble and easy to seal.

Tapes

A range of tapes offering everything you need to make sure goods are well protected at every stage of their journey. Whether you need a standard box sealing tape, a technical tape or glue, Primary Supplies can provide the right solution. Our range includes Vinyl (PVC) or Polypropylene (PP) carrier tapes with various adhesive options including acrylic, hotmelt and solvent - for a variety of uses, and environments - made from a selection of materials – there is a solution for every need, including environmentally friendly options too!

Type of use and environment – identify whether you’re needing super-strength to hold a seal for years, or if it is short-lived; or perhaps you need to put it in the freezer or use in a hot, moist environment; And likewise, is it to be used as a warning and needs to be easily seen, or is it to be discretely blended on the back of a photo frame. Perhaps you’re looking for book binding tape or something with rip-proof capabilities such as a cross weave filament tape.

Type of adhesive – Solvent is a natural rubber for sealing medium to heavy loads and is temperature resistant; Hotmelt is known as synthetic rubber suitable for general applications; and Acrylic is a water based adhesive works best for sticking polythene.

Tapes and glues can be used manually or from a manual or automatic dispenser – choose the right one for your requirements.

Hand Stretchfilm

Handstretch film is used to wrap around pallets and secure loads for transportation - protecting, securing and offering tamper evidence. The film has an elastic memory which ensures that the load keeps securely held in transit.
